Second time buying this harness. We have the black and sage colors. Absolutely love this harness! Love that there is a clip on the front and back and also like the handle. Only suggestion would be for the metal clips to be silver and not the color of the fabric as I foresee the color getting scratched quickly as some other reviews also mentioned.

Just went on my first walk with it today and it's so good! I was previously using my Find My Animal rope leash around my waist and I had no idea how uncomfortable it was compared to maxbone!! I also really love the pouch system as I often walk in leggings with no pockets. A few things I would LOVE to see in future versions are 1) an oh-no handle on the bottom half of the leash closer to hold the dog close if needed, 2) selling just the leash separate from the belt so I can clip both my dogs in without getting an extra part, 3) bidirectional zippers on the pouch so you can choose which side it opens from or have access from just the top, and 4) a few more accessories like a used waste bag clip and a waste bag holder than doesn't dangle from the leash (the worst!).
Thanks for making such a great product and I really hope you'll keep updating it!

I got this bundle in XL (sage green) for my golden retriever puppy to grow into (I selected L in the review, just because the XL option wasn't available to select). I am obsessed! The adjustable leash itself and the crossbody loop portion makes it super easy to shorten in busy areas, or lengthen on walks. The ability to go hands-free is awesome! The clip on the loop part of the leash also makes it easy to attach around a post/fixed object/yourself without having to unclip the leash from the dog and do some crazy knots. Also, as someone who has had dogs get loose because of cheap dinky leash clips, I cannot state enough how comforting the locking mechanism on the buckles are. The flexibility from the front and back D-loops on the harness are also handy for walks vs clipping in for car rides.
My golden retriever pup is now 10 months and 72 pounds (she's heavy, but not all that tall/large), and the XL fits her okay - the loops still have lots of room to adjust, but the back panel is bit short on her back. For this reason, I would not recommend the current harness size range to large breed dogs (Great Danes, Bernese Mtn Dogs, large Labs, etc.), but the leash itself is awesome!
Some random notes: I've had the leash for 8 months and have put it through everything (beach, water, hikes, dragging through grass, etc.), and the loops have started to rust pretty substantially, coloring the harness itself.
